After graduating culinary school in Vermont, Hunter landed at the Playboy Mansion in Beverly Hills, California as a chef for Hugh Hefner for many years. With ambitions to travel and further his skills, Hunter continued cooking for the rich and famous, working on private yachts around the world until wanting to be in business for himself.
A playmate friend of his introduced him into the family entertainment business where Hunter traveled the mid-Atlantic region of the USA running his own food concessions business. He eventually opened a brick and motor restaurant in Savannah, GA in 2014. It was a success right away and after two years Hunter ended his partnership and set out on his own.
After steady market research with his partner Audrey, whom worked in his Savannah restaurant, the two fell in love and they settled in Atlanta to open several Poké Perfect locations throughout the city. Hunter eventually joined forces with some Dutch friends and family in the Netherlands. They have opened an Amsterdam and Utrecht restaurant in the Netherlands with more future American and European locations planned.
Poké is a Hawaiian dish, originally consisting of sushi rice, raw fish and several different toppings served in a bowl. You could basically describe it as sushi in a bowl. If you are not a fan of raw fish – don’t worry. We also serve smoked chicken or tofu.
To make your life even easier, we also serve sushirritos. These could be described as big sushi wraps, filled with the ingredients you desire, consumed like a burrito. Both options are healthy, guilt-free and incredibly tasty.
